On March 26, Hangzhou Research Institute of Chemical Industry was invited to participate in the Zhejiang Manufacturing Industry's First (Set) Upgrading Project Conference, the Provincial Manufacturing High Quality Development Conference, and the Zhejiang Manufacturing Industry's First (Set) Product Exhibition. Full degradable materials of Zhejiang Biodegradable and Nano Materials Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as "Innovation Center") were selected as the first batch of new materials for Zhejiang's manufacturing industry. Chief Executive Officer Yao Xiangrong of Hangshi Technology Development (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., the operating entity of the innovation center, attended the conference and made product promotion introductions for provincial and municipal leaders.

Among them, bio-based full degradable materials can replace disposable plastic products and be applied to film bag products and paper-plastic composite products. While ensuring excellent performance, the cost is reduced to the same level as traditional polyolefin materials. This product and technology will accelerate the green preparation and application of bio-based fully degradable materials, and effectively solve the application and promotion problems of high cost and low performance of existing bio-based full degradable materials.

Bio-based nanocellulose has the advantages of abundant raw materials, biodegradability, light weight and high strength. It is one of the most potential new materials in the future. It has a wide range of applications in the fields of full degradable materials, daily chemicals, papermaking, and rubber. At present, Hangzhou Research Institute of Chemical Industry has built the first 100Kg/d nanocellulose pilot line in China, and the cost has been reduced from the current price of 1 million yuan/ton (absolute dry) to less than 100,000 yuan/ton (absolute dry). This technology is at the international advanced level, which effectively fills the domestic gap.
